Heavy and loud noise rock with "certain greasiness to their sound" according to the dork who fronts Pissed Jeans. If you didn't hear them the first time around a decade ago, here's your chance to hear a band dubbed a "heathen trio" by music critic Jessica Hopper as she described them as "the sole standout in the gone-fallow fields of that rotten, swampy, squalling-and-squealing din [of Chicago noise rock] ...front man and Pittsburgh transplant Mike Siciliano howls like something's horribly wrong with him (I mean that as a compliment)."

Birth "sintered eardrums with a rock that does not calculate..." (Perteefracas) and ended our final show back in 2011 by "...destroying all of their equipment on stage in a final, defining act for their band" (Consequence of Sound).

This includes remixed and remastered versions of two cassette releases (tracks 1-9) and Birth's self-titled LP (tracks 10-17).

Tracks 1-4 originally appeared on the "Winter Tape" in 2011 and contains outtakes from the same session as the band's LP (still in print on Deadbeat Records).

Tracks 5-9 originally appeared on the "Double Reggae" cassette in Summer 2011 which was sold during a short tour and has been out of print ever since.

Tracks 10-17 originally appeared on the self-titled LP released in the Winter of 2011 on Deadbeat Records (vinyl still available).
